greenecology - ecological consultants and contractors

Green Ecology is a small, family run consultancy covering all of south-west England with offices on the edge of Dartmoor, Devon and in Penryn, Cornwall. Being small and independent, we can provide high quality services promptly and at reasonable rates. Together with a small group of trusted associates with specialisms in a range of fields, Green Ecology are able to provide the full range of ecological services. Most of the team are members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) and Chartered Environmentalists. All staff and associates either hold the same status or are undergoing training to achieve these qualifications. We always work to the highest standards in line with the IEEM’s code of professional conduct.

Green Ecology also provides contracting services. These include traditional hedge laying, stone walling, habitat management for conservation or mitigation and exclusion fencing for reptiles and amphibians. Our contracting staff are qualified ecologists as well as having extensive experience in practical conservation work. This means that all practical works are carried out with full awareness of any potential impacts on wildlife. Recent clients include The Environment Agency, Natural England, Devon County Council, Parsons Brinckerhoff, AccordMP and the Devon Biodiversity Records Centre.

Green Ecology holds public liability insurance for £5 million and professional indemnity insurance for £1 million.
