Green Ecology is an established ecological consultancy providing ecology surveys across the South of England.
Our aim is to help our clients meet their development’s objectives whilst maintaining as much biodiversity on site as possible and respecting the wider ecology of the area. Our clients seeking ecology surveys and ecological advice range from single landowners to large companies and national organisations.
Our expert team of ecologists are all members of CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management) and work to their professional code of conduct. Our client focused approach involves practical solutions drawn from our deep knowledge of local and national planning policies, the construction industry’s best practice, and many years of wildlife expertise. This approach can often help a project progress through innovative problem solving where under normal circumstances site work may be halted or forced to take a more expensive route.
Value is something Green Ecology place high importance on, providing a cost effective service through the use of multi-disciplinary ecologists in the field, efficient journey planning, concise report writing and using our experience to get it right the first time of asking. Always listening to the client’s objectives so that field methodology, the resulting reports and mitigation advice can bring a timely and successful conclusion to our combined work. Ecology is not often seen as an expensive element on a project but it does have the capacity to slow down a planning application and we understand that time costs. Whilst many time consuming elements are unavoidable we will use our knowledge of the planning system to do everything within our power to speed up your application without jeopardizing the application or our integrity!
